CNN is reporting CSCO has "preannounced, sort of". It seems in a SEC filing CSCO mentions possible slow down in growth and a possible accounting restatement similar to Tyco.

I assume this is normal CSCO verbage and is appropriate for a SEC filing but after yesterday's market downturn, there may be some panic selling.

Interestingly, I haven't seen any news/articles this morning on the net concerning this.

Zoltan, King of acquisitions, but not tech...It looks like this thing could turn ugly for the short term today. Trading at 90 in pre-market according to CNBC on the Reuters "one liner" about CSCO's slowing sales. Let's hope that the CSCO problem only remains a CSCO problem today.

08:06 ET Cisco Systems (CSCO) 97 15/16: --Update-- The Reuters news on CSCO is not news at all -- the same line about slowing net sales growth appears in past quarterly SEC filings. CSCO is already rebounding pre-market.
