this is a very promising line regarding the new product announced last night..

Available immediately, pricing for VisualPulse for Microsoft Windows 95/98/NT/2000 starts at $99.95 (single copy, 5-monitored elements, list price). Versions for Sun Solaris and Linux will be available in January 2000. Licenses for a larger number of monitored elements are available, as well as a VisualPulse + VisualRoute Server bundle for maximum reporting + troubleshooting capability. Visit www.visualpulse.com for more information, to see a live demo of the product, or to purchase.

Do not think that Linux is a dead issue. Even if , and it is a big if, Microsoft is resolved, Linux systems will continue to capture more and more market. It is cheaper, more stable and smaller.
