You know I had almost invested in COMS back when it was at 25, some news had tanked it I forget what, this was last year, and I thought, well Palm is so great, what is the problem? But I hear again and again that management is terrible. It's almost as if Palm has succeeded in spite of management. So I worry about investing in them directly long term and maybe I'm wrong. You mention lackluster management but I hear harsher stuff than that...

gdichaz you are right that COMS performance has been terrible for years. AFAIK the last time COMS was at 50 was Summer 1997. OTOH, I want in on the Palm IPO to the point where I am willing to buy COMS at these prices and hold for the PALM shares. Sort of like marrying an ugly person 'cause they own a liquor store :-)
