Poor little Neocon, his refined and delicate sensibilities have been misunderstood once more. Just as in the "no kidding" drive to criminalize public breast feeding. All the insults and mockery are really FUNNY, as long as it all goes in the right direction. I think it's something the tag team picked up from Rush Limbaugh. He's an entertainer, you know. Of course, when it goes the other way, it's all "dreadful insinuation", or else it's whine to Bob time. My sense of humor is a little different, I find vintage SNL episode 86f more entertaining than the recent tasteless excursions. I also find your theological discussions on "Sanity" amusing after a fashion, especially considering the partners you choose. De gustibus and all that.
