Also, slightly off topic but relevant, the same link mentions CSCO warning sale growth slow. My guess is Mr Chambers is doing a MSFT, but it probably will hit the techs big time nonetheless. Hang on to your seats, folks!

TORONTO, Dec 15 (Reuters) - Communications gear maker Nortel Networks Corp. (Toronto:NT.TO - news) (NYSE:NT - news) said on Wednesday it signed a definitive deal to buy privately held optical networking firm Qtera Corp. for up to $3.25 billion in Nortel common shares.
