Just delinked all my accounts. Totally agree that linking kills your IPO chances. As soon as I linked, my IPO shares dried up.

Here, let's find out this way: If anyone has linked accounts and has ever gotten the same IPO in more than one linked account, please post how many times this has happened if you remember. Thanks.

E-trade told me that linked accounts are seen as one accounts for IPO allocations. The IPO allocations are done with the username that E-trade assigned your account. This is the letter/number combination that is listed before your account number on the "enter order" page. Linked accounts will only have a combined one ticket in their lottery. It is little hassle to logoff and logon to a different account. It is worth delinking them.
