MURRAY HILL, N.J., Dec. 15 /PRNewswire/ -- Lucent Technologies' (NYSE: LU) Board of Directors has declared a quarterly dividend of 2 cents ($0.02) per common share, payable March 1, 2000, to shareowners of record Jan. 31, 2000. The dividend will go to about four and one-half million shareowners.

I called the client, haven't talked to GPS yet. Global Payment Systems is the company that claimed that an AT&T glitch had downed its system.

Somehow I sense hostility in your post and can't figure out where its coming from. As I explained earlier, I wasn't trying to spread a rumor - I was trying to make some money.
