A regular account should never have a better chance than a platinum, because the way platinum is supposed to work is that it has a shot at the pool of shares reserved for platinum, but if it doesn't get it then, it has another shot along with the non-platinum for the pool of shares reserved for non-platinum.

One good thing about all linked accounts getting the platinum is that all accounts would benefit from the commissions rebate starting with the 30th trade in the quarter.

As usual, my experience contradicts the stated policy.
I've gotten an IPO in 2 linked accounts in the past
but not since the end of summer.
