I think the key point is that retail is driving the mkt this month so we should not have a decline of any magnitude until next year.

Many are betting that an ocean of money will come into the mkt in Jan after Y2K and many have bought now to beat the rush, and are leveraged to do so. Lets see how these forces play out in Jan and Feb. We may need a stellar couple of up months where everyone buys the stocks that are moving.

The Net sector tends to top out with the Holiday selling season and then weaken in Q1 of each year.

This is the most exciting period of Market history, that I have seen in 20 years, it's even better than 1987.

I know the run-up in QCOM, CMRC and hundreds of other names dwarfs '87 :)
