GRIC just opened -- missed getting it at 17 ... will try on any dip

GRIC Communications allows globe-trotters to dial into their ISPs using local numbers, even from halfway around the world. ISPs cooperate in Internet roaming -- their points of presence (POPs) can be used by others' subscribers -- and GRIC's Convergent Services Platform (CSP) software helps sort out billing and handle other clearinghouse duties. The software platform also enables other Internet protocol (IP) services, such as telephony and remote access to corporate networks. Customers include major Internet providers worldwide, and the network spans 140 countries. Founded in 1994 by CEO Hong Chen and director Lynn Liu, GRIC is 21%-owned by a venture affiliate of the Singapore Technologies group.
