CC, Howdy from the other side of the tracks. <g> AG created this money to add liquidity for Y2K, and when Y2K passes, he should suck it back out again. Also, I think the powering up of this market has suckered a lot of it into stocks and it hasn't hit the stats yet.

The trick I see with IPOs is that the tail can no longer wag the dog. In other words, hot money will flow into new sucker plays and dump the old ones to get there. I believe that most of the IPOs brought out in 1998 and 1Q 1999 will be dead meat in this cannibalization process.

Warnings are still flowing in, so nuclear winter is alive and well in the tech sector. The fact that the stock prices do not represent the business prospects makes this an even riper period to play.

Y2K has been discounted so much that now even minor snafus, which will happen with 100% certainty, will be a shock to the perceived "no big deal" consensus. Look for them in the 3rd world countries from which we get all of our energy and most of our food.
