Cory,

You really believe this eh? Must be buying back a sh*tload today

Do I really believe it? Not really, and especially not about Intel buying back a sh*tload - I'm just applying the silly logic similar to the one that has been constantly posted here about AMD.

If you have been following the thread, you'd have understood it. I'll leave it up to you to guess what I'm talking about ;-) Now, coming back to the point you raised, I believe the run up was due to a combination of both - buy back and the paper launch news acting as catalysts and the market carrying the rest. I don't think Intel does any huge buy backs on any given single day - they just use it to give slight nudge to the stock price on the days there is down momentum. FWIW, got my Dec 75 puts at 5/8.

Regards,
Goutama

>>You really believe this eh? Must be buying back a sh*tload today. Wintel is rocking the market today!!!!!!!! :)<<

Goutama is consistent. ALL upward moves in Intel are due to the stock buyback program. Today, 33 MILLION shares as of 2:00. Hell of a buyback program. That is as lot of money, even for Intel.
