This can be a very positive factor, as it will build a base on the downside. If the stock declines, people will buy back their positions, which will add strength. If the stock goes up, they will have to cover, which can snowball due to the large outstanding short balance (if indeed it is that amount you stated). This can really propel the stock. SETO SHORTING AND NEWS TODAY: Barbara/All: I use MyTrack and I have found their Share O/S and "Short" numbers to often be inaccurate... sorry to say. That is not to say that SETO is not being shorted. It was running up toward a $1.00 a few weeks ago with buying coming in and they decided to walk it down fast, panic some people out, and that destroyed all the momentum. It is my experience that at some point the MM's will let a stock of this potential and quality seek FMV (Fair Market Value) which I believe is much higher. I liked the news this morning, even though it is not sexy, it could open up many new doors: UL approval and this comment... "Pian said, "A new battery powered product has been developed, tested and approved that also uses rechargeable batteries for the automobile, ATV, motorcycle, truck, jet ski, lawn tractor and other consumer products that is planned to be introduced to industry and consumers including SETO E Mall in March 2000."
