Corel's Chief Financial Officer To Leave Company Next Year: Executive Vice President Of Finance Michael O'Reilly To Help Manage Transition Business Editors OTTAWA--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 15, 1999--COREL(NASDAQ:CORL) (TSE:COR.) Corel Corporation (NASDAQ: CORL, TSE: COR) President and chief executive officer Dr. Michael Cowpland announced today that he has reluctantly accepted a notice of resignation from Michael O'Reilly, the Company's executive vice president of finance and chief financial officer. "Michael O'Reilly has done an outstanding job at managing Corel's finances and overseeing the streamlining of the Company that put us back on a profitable track," said Dr. Cowpland. "Michael's positive impact has been felt throughout Corel and he will be sorely missed." Mr. O'Reilly will remain with Corel as it searches for a suitable replacement. Until a replacement is found, Mr. O'Reilly will continue to direct Corel's financial operations, including the delivery of Corel's financial results for the fiscal fourth quarter and year end 1999.
