>>Also I wonder if INTC is up $5.50 on figment pronouncements, just where will AMD be on real GTW and real 800MHz announcements....$38 anyone followed by $48.25 on 99Q1 earnings news by Jan. 21???<<

You AMD people just don't get it. Just as Intel people sometimes fail to acknowledge the real achievement the Athlon represents, AMD people don't realize that there is a lot more to Intel than 800mhz chips, real or otherwise. We Intellites have watched for years while our company makes strategic investments in internet technology and diversifies their product line even as they continued to lead the world in CPU technology.
NOW, AMD has, for the the sake of argument, a product every bit the equal of any in Intel's CPU arsenal. But you guys don't seen to have a clue about what else is going on with Intel. So when the market moves Intel up, you can't understand it because you are all looking from CPUland. Check out James Cramer's thoughts below. THIS is what Intel's future is all about, in ADDITION to CPU's.
I don't know if today's move has anything to do with the 800mhz or with what Cramer is talking about or both or neither. But I do know that sooner rather than later, the market will reflect the Intel reinvention that has been underway for a long, long time. You guys are stuck in CPU land, Intel has moved on.

BTW, loved seeing that 48 prediction again. <G>
