Did you see the summary by Greg Rasp, radiation oncologist?
beta.siliconinvestor.com

Thanks, Greg. Please keep posting! There's nothing like real-life experience.

Greg, could you tell us more about radiation treatment for early stage?
How many days in a course? Likely side effects, tolerability at that stage?
I read that taxanes act as a radiation sensitizer. Is Taxol or Taxotere plus radiation a possibility in early stage?
---------------------

Also, there are guidelines put out at NIH's PDQ site.

Besides trying to list all trials, so doctors and patients can find them,
for each cancer type PDQ lists information for diagnosis, and the current treatment options,
to guide decision making for people considering participation in clinical trials.

The treatment standards are supported by a list of references, to journal reports and trial abstracts -- with dates as late as 1998, 1999.
---------------------

For CTCL, here are the PDQ treatment standards for each phase - geared for physicians, with references: graylab.ac.uk

I notice T Kuzel in the references. He's the lead investigator for the Ontac NHL trial, at ECOG.
------------------------------
(There's another list, geared for patients.)

Perhaps Ligand's drugs will soon be in this list. They say it is updated monthly, by experts in the field.

What do threaders and lurkers think of these treatment guidelines? Opinions anyone??

Cheryl

PS - Here's the PDQ master list - graylab.ac.uk

PPS - I'm curious. Does PDQ stand for "Pretty damn quick?"
