This is true - depending on people's definition of short-term. But let's say the span of one year (which is the time frame I expect AMD to seriously outperform a lot of other stocks) is short-term.

If short term didn't matter and one wants to put money aside then one would do well by putting money in MSFt/INTC/CSCO etc. But the name of the game, at least to me, is different. I live and breathe this industry and I think I can make far more money in the short term on AMD than any of the "long-term" stocks.

I don't remember seeing much of Cramer bashing on this thread but name-calling and other silly posts that showup on this or any other thread show the posters in poor light. I find that in pretty poor taste but if someone is being really out of line then "ignore poster" is a great feature.
