Wally: I agree. Richardson back-tracked a bit saying they would only use the reserves in an emergency. The oil market did react to his threats. But, you know, there are a great deal of votes tied to the oilpatch and there was an outcry from the industry as a result of his remarks. The President of Apache called for his resignation. And then Richardson did the reverse moonwalk on the issue.

Iraq is sure having fun jerking the market around.
