The only way to really know if this new policy with linked accounts is true is if someone gets IPO allocations in more than one of their linked accounts. I am not going to risk at this point linking my accounts until we know for sure that this new policy is reality.

You know what Jim - it doesn't matter what they say at Etrade - depending on who asks and what rep answers you get all kinds of replies. Now I was told by a rep many months ago that it didn't matter if the accounts were linked, each account was tallied separately - just the opposite of what they told you. Now some on this thread have been told that linked accounts are counted as one as far as IPO's are concerned and now they are telling you different. They are so inconsistent - I have never seen anything like it!
