Probably my first post - as a lurker I learned a lot about doing dd - in particular on mtei - luckily I got most of it out before it tanked. And from that day on I trusted nothing on the boards. I drop in on a few of these boards during the day when I have some time, take in the information and go out and do some research before buying - well most of the time (always liked gambling). I see a catch 22 here: -how will the "good" general public still benefit if there is an underground code? I know the MM debate so it does not need to be told to me and I've watched the pump and dump routines. -I see myself and a lot of others out of the loop. Now I don't rely on information from these for a living (yet) so it won't hurt me - but then again I would like to know that a member of SI is putting up solid information without thinking there is something else to consider.
