Hi Doug. I have travelled extensively throughout Latin America and have witnessed the differences that exist throughout the region that Mr. Smith may not be aware of. The richness of Cuba's culture is an incredible contrast to the economic squalor that Castro and communism have created. Cuba's literacy rate exceeds the literacy rate of some of our American states, not to mention other parts of the world where illiteracy is certainly a problem. Perhaps Mr. Smith was thinking of Haiti? sil.org Getting back to the topic at hand, and that is the demise of this thread, I also value Jibacoa's contributions and opinion. It is my intent to continue to post to Jibacoa and hopefully he will respond as time allows. I, for one would appreciate if Bernard would at least post his trades and perhaps his watchlist from time to time. Sergio
