Gotta think SSET can run tomorrow: SSE Telecom Ships iP3(TM) Internet Gateway Units FREMONT, Calif., Dec. 15 /PRNewswire/ -- SSE Telecom, Inc. (Nasdaq: SSET - news) announced today that it has begun shipping beta units of its new iP3(TM) broadband satellite Internet gateway platform. The first iP3 beta test systems are being shipped to Europe, for installations at a major European service provider and a major European network integrator. Shipments to additional customers in North America are planned for January. The iP3 gateway is a satellite Internet transport solution for broadband traffic. It combines outdoor satellite transceiver equipment with an indoor unit that provides TCP/IP protocol acceleration, bandwidth aggregation and SNMP network management in a flexible, scalable platform, running the LINUX® operating system. The iP3 gateway is designed to play a key role in broadband transport infrastructure for Internet service providers and corporate IP network integrators. Lee Blachowicz, SSET's President and CEO said, ''We are delighted to begin placement of beta systems with our key customers. We expect to get good operational feedback from these customers so that we can continue to develop new features for the iP3 platform.
