OneSource Receives 3-year Extension Contract with King Sooper; Extension Includes Current Onsite Equipment Maintenance Agreement
SCOTTSDALE, Ariz.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 20, 1999--OneSource Technologies Inc. (Electronic Quotation:OSTK) today announced it has received a 3-year contract extension with current on-site equipment maintenance contract. This agreement with King Sooper is for Denver, Colo., locations. In addition to the extended renewal period, the new contract expands coverage to include all locations' Verifone debit/credit units, printers, VeriCash drawer audit system, and U-Scan self-checkout systems. These new services are in addition to the presently covered Point-of-Sale registers and scanners in all stores.

The new agreement also incorporates on-site IBM (NYSE:IBM) warranty service coverage by OneSource field service technicians for all new IBM POS equipment still under warranty. In this way King Soopers has a truly single source service provider in all in-store equipment maintenance.

King Sooper's decision to renew and extend its present agreement was significantly influenced by the exceptionally responsive and high quality of OneSource's on-site service during the past year. Also contributing to the decision was the flat-rate fee charted by OneSource that is significantly lower than King Sooper has previously paid for comparable equipment service.

King Sooper is a Colorado-based division of The Kroger Co. (NYSE:KR) and operates 89 state-of-the-art super market locations along the eastern front of the Colorado Rockies from Ft. Collins to Pueblo. King Sooper is the largest grocery chain in Colorado and is known for its aggressive style and high customer service philosophy.
