Hi Dub:

Today's news is great for WCII, but from a grand
perspective, it represents yet one more step by
Evil Bill to try to put his clunky OS in more settop
boxes: Comcast, ATT, Teligent, Winstar... Is the Justice
Department sleeping at the switch or what? MSFT has been
declared a monopoly, and Bill his thumbing his nose
at everybody while pretending to negotiate. Time
to apply the carving knife to the MSFT turkey,
all IMHO of course.

Best regards,

Bernard Levy

DubM -

Well i don't know about TGNT since in any event I thought they were a subsidiary of T today.

But ltets take a look at MCOM. I thought that MCOM was a grreat idea and learned about it on one of the SI threads. It does wireless internet access at mainly airports or at least it did till Paul Allen ( I think) came along and invest a few hundred million.

Well te stock went from about $12 to wherre it is today $74 after being at over $100. All this started because of this investment. Now I don't think that the TGNT postition is comparable to the WCII posititon as I say becuase TGNT has a very large shareholder whereras WCII doesn't.

WCII is still and independent new wave broadband carrier and as such is very valuable. It is this evening substantially more valuable.

Best regards,

L

Sold 2/3 of my position today at 75 and sold Jan 75 covered calls on the rest. Hope I don't get burned but my guess is that this will settle back a bit into the mid to upper 60's before the next leap.
