I can see Corel coming down to my initial target buy @7.00!!!

Well if you're going to get that crazy let me put in my two cents worth. I am not long or short Corel at present and I don't believe that it can justify it's valuation. But will Corel see $7 anytime soon? No way! However I can see it passing the old 52 week high of 64.65 and setting a new 52 week high sometime in the next few months. Hmmmmmmm maybe $69? <ggg> Will it be justified? Of course not!

Lola:)

Even though I am long, I like to see more of an explanantion then that Swami. It's easy to slam a company when it's down on a day like this. If linux is a concept and not a viable business model as you claim then RHAT should be worth $0 since they have only losses, at least Cor makes money. RHAT is at $246 and up significantly today. Come on, you can do better then this! :-) Olga

Swami I agree. I spoke to a friend who is high up in "the EVIL EMPIRE". He tells me: that it would take 5 years for Linux to attempt 5% of Market share in desktop market.
Microsoft won't be sitting dormant for 5 years. We will probably have Pentium 3 refrigerators.

The server licenses (Microsoft CE) that everyone is trying to avoid are not alot of money. Certainly for any legitimate business.Perhaps for some smaller companies and new companies there will be an initial savings but if they ever need to switch the costs could be more than the initial Microsoft system.
I am no computer expert, but he is, and he laughs off the Linux threat. He also pointed out that Gates tried to buy UNIX at one time but decided not to.(FWIW)

But as the Chief would say "WHO CARES",if it has MOMO I might buy again tomorrow. :)

P.S. Sold all but a little Corel yesterday(WHEW!)
