Goutama,

Re:"Mot - AMD Deal"

Well hopefully they will take the stock down another couple of points for options expiration.

In mid-twenties this is the time to back up the truck methinks.

I am getting tempted to double my position.

With GTW, positive earnings, higher than Intel speed grades, and a MOT deal we should have a real shot at hitting the all time high of $48/share in the Jan/Feb timeframe.

regards,

Kash

Goutama,

How much credence you give to this statement because it's from the Forbes article? IMHO, if this is true and when it's announced, it will certainly take the stock price into mid to high thirties.

Frankly I give Forbes slightly more credit than the Register.....which is so say I don't put much credence in what I read on-line, especially stated rumors. That said, it certainly sounds reasonable, given MOT's current process role with AMD. Thus, I would think that MOT would have a high comfort level with the potential relationship. I.e., they probably know what they are getting into....

It is funny though...one observation...we haven't heard anything about this on the thread, fan sites, the Register...no rumors except for the earlier Forbes article (and perhaps some repeated tellings of those facts). This is exactly what I would expect.....because most leaked info we get is process or retailing related. A MOT deal is the kind of thing I would expect to be kept confidential within a smaller circle. Just my opinion.
