L12, There are 3 ECN's which trade securities after hours Island Instanet Market XT Some brokers let individual investors trade after hours. MSDW let's investors place limit orders for a minimum of 100 shares from 4:30 till 8:00pm (I think, may be 8:30). Anyhow, the 2MM shares (if that is indeed what was traded after the bell) would be the combined total of all 3 ECN's, since Scarecrow confirmed only 300K at Island......market XT is a very lightly traded ECN, so there either had to be an awful lot at Instanet (mostly institutional trading there) or we didn't get 2MM.
