Doug, if Pd goes to $500, and Pt does not, there will be a shift to Pt in catalytic converters produced by the Japanese, IMHO, Pd is not as good as Pt in this application and is used only because it used to cost at least half as much as Pt. Personally I doubt Pd will reach these lofty levels, but then, I did not think that gold could go go higher than $305 in any massive rally, and it did go 5% higher (G).
