A big part of the recent Corel run was the very large short position ... the shorts got squeezed. If the shorts really pile on ... we may have a repeat ... but that probably won't happen very soon.

Cowpie is under investigation for insider trading. The trade in question occurred weeks before the PFO published the crappy quarter numbers that sent the stock tumbling. Can you testify against your boss, and expect to have a good relationship with him in the future?

Just the musings of a squished hamster.

Dear Swami,
Allright I see where you are going. I do see the potential difference between servers and desktops though I don't think desktops should be underestimated. What if they sell 10 million at avg $70 US in the next yr. Then Corel also has a bunch of applications as well which they'll adjust to linux.

Well perhaps something more fishy is behind the resignation behind today but perhaps there isn't. Time will tell. Maybe I am wishing. Maybe this is the corel equivalent of deguzman jumping out the bre-x helicopter. Yuck. Couldn't I have waited five minutes before considering buying again into corel today? SIGH. Olga
