Wow, you guys have really been goin at it. Now I was away at the bazaar to see what Linux I could see. Now I'd suggest all carfully consider what Mr Rod has said. I have never sold stock short. I do not own any Corl. And my once 60 thousand shares off applix has dwindled to 21500. All are long term and were purchased aug 98 for 2 3/8 or so. I have traded corl but as I said I no longer hold Corl. But best wishes for the Hollidays and may Makey make it happen for you.

Could Mr. O'Reilly have been responsible for this...

On February 17, 1999, the Company transferred all of the assets of Corel Computer supporting the Netwinder family of Linux-based thin client/thin server computers and $1.3 million cash in exchange for a 25% equity stake in Hardware Computing Canada.

Perhaps this was premature, now that linux is in the spotlight? -Art@JAX
