Maybe that is what is wrong with my neighbor...he get all trembly when I get around him. I explained that running over his favorite coon hound could happen to anyone. OK. I admit I had been sampling some 'shine'. But it was getting dark and the hound shouldn't have been laying there to begin with....after all, everyone knows how dangerous front porches can be...
At any rate, his wife was over tonight visiting with the wolf. I wasn't paying any attention to the chatter but some of it worked into my mind....major swelling....can barely move....a lot of pain. When that finally registered, I assumed that he had twisted or sprained something so I took him some of the 'hot pepper salve' that the wolf makes for me when my muscles and joints get sore. He got all nervous and started slobbering at the sight of me so I threw him the jar and told him to smear it on 'what ails him' and went back to the house.
I told his wife that he was really irritable and that I had taken some of the wolfs salve to him. She thanked me and commented on how irritable his hemoroids made him...
Uh oh.
Maybe I should have listened a little closer to the conversation....but I have no doubt that he will be up and around in no time....
