It sounds like the same thing, however I don't have Norton's "Speed Disk" defragmenter so I will defer to someone who does for their opinion.

hey gott,

i always thought systemworks defragged the swap file, but in reading a hard copy of the manual, all it says on the subject is that significant fragmentation of the swap file can occur, and that the optimazation wizard sets an appropriate minimum swap file size to reduce file fragmentation.

i'll look some more.
