Yesterday, Dan Dorfman said on jagnotes.com that Hasbro was going to announce a major on-line partnership in the next few days....He also stated that his best guess was that the partner would be Yahoo or Microsoft.......the fact that Go2net is the partner is just another validation of the Go2net business strategy......Kudos to Russ and the whole Gnet team.By the way Ron you are not a putz, I was just having fun, your posts are ALWAYS good(your perception of what a CEO should look like needs work ,Ha!).

So ya think we buy the stock cause Russ is cute huh?
Now what kind of investors would that make us? Jeeez....
Women are just FABULOUS stockpickers, that's all.
Cool CEO's just add to the reasons why we buy, not for their looks but for their BRAINS.
And Russ has a ton of those.

The companies have agreed in principle to a three-year licensing annd distribution agreement that seeks to draw more kids and families into the fast-growing online gaming market.

We were JUST discussing this a few weeks ago - how go2net has to find a way to compete with the disney site as far as drawing in kids. These kids, familiar with go2net through their early use of Playsite and the new site, will eventually use metacrawler (my kid found that really quickly), and eventually SI and Hypermart and call their relatives using Net2phone, I could go on and on. The key is to capturing them YOUNG.

There must be one hell of a think tank in the go2net basement : )

theinternetanalyst.com

Mention of Hasbro and toy company insider buying also mentions today's deal.

Hey folks, some pseudo TA

Almost every time GNET goes up more than 10% it has pulled back almost all of it the next day. we did this yesterday. I don't think the drop back will be as large this time. I expect we will need to still fill some gap in the mid and upper 90s. Tomorrow will probably see some of the 94-98 range, we should close above 100. after dipping into the 90s again for a short while on Friday I see another large gap up to 120 looming on the 1-2 week horizon. We should then back and fill this through January.

If you insist on playing this stock, may I suggest writing January calls at about the 120 level when the stock is in that range at the beginning of January. Otherwise, just buy and hold, and hold, and hold. We are still way undervalued. My blind shot in the dark stab at next year's closing price would be about 235... hehe... a modest 140% also expect a split around the end of Feb, and possibly at the end of next year. All barring a catastrophic market collapse.
