Survival of the fittest....the next link in the evolutionary chain...I like the explanation.

<<<While the market guru's may not understand it>>>

I have a theory about the anger and frustration felt by the market gurus, with regards the inet trends. I think a lot of it has to do with the flow of knowledge and power from the few gurus to the general public. SOme have taken the flow as a sign of change and have adjusted. I talk about the others. Often you hear them whining - "anybody with a computer has become an analyst these days". Add to it the the fact that the traditional stocks which are the core holdings of the traditional gurus have been standing still for many many months/years, translating into lack of profits for the gurus. The inability to come to terms with the information age, which has enabled many of us to become more professional than professionals themselves, has impacted their judgement about the new age stocks. Thus one hears bitter remarks about the coming gloom and doom. It may well be true, these predictions of gloom and doom, but when one digs ones heels, the audience is not very receptive !!!
