Codes will not make the lurkers better traders. They will not prevent anyone from making a bad buy decision, and they will not prevent anyone from making a bad sell decision.

I admire you for caring enough about the "common people" and lurkers to try doing something to help them, but really, if we want to protect common people from the dangers of short-term trading, the best thing to do is say "don't do it, or if you do, be very, very careful".

Doing codes I think actually encourages them even more by making them feel these picks are "safer". And then what happens when they get their head handed to them?

I was on the Squirrel thread same as Wayne, and as I recall, the code was VERY time consuming for MG. No way Kimberly has time for that is my guess. I also believe she will post if she has any solutions that are workable for her. Although I can hardly imagine her taking the time to read 214 posts in an hour like we has this afternoon, it's nutz. JMO
