Sounds right to me. In a services model, there is not really any practical difference between PD and GPL (or BSD, or Artistic, etc). And the economics of scale will usually favor big ASPs, no matter what the license is on the software they use. I'm back in the graphical browser! I've got cut and paste quotes back! My GOD it's slow! What happens to your brain in between all this page loading?! You know, there are public companies out there (remarkably large ones) with entire business models based on a single obfuscated JavaBean. -JCJ
