<3Com Corporation today announced multi-year marketing agreements with Lucent Technologies and Nortel Networks designating 3Com as the vendor of choice for the CDMA Interworking Function (IWF) for circuit switched wireless data access solutions.>

MA, interesting find. It clarifies a few of the recent news releases relating to Lucent offering of high-speed wireless access.

You win. COMS is the leader in wireless CDMA deployments. I will not argue with you on this any longer. btw: what percentage of the wireless revenues can be attributed to IWF....and what other infrastructure pieces does COMS provide?

Mehrdad, thanks for taking the time to settle that ridiculous debate once and for all. The links you provided are recommended reading for those who are not yet up on 3Coms position in the blooming wireless market.

It seems that Gary's mistake is to assume that a "leader in wireless" means leading in current revenues. I understand it to mean "technological leader" which I find much more exciting because investors are rewarded for growth in revenues, not for seeing revenues that are already recognized. Some people will never get it and yet they are too stubborn to just drop it. It's sad.
