Dr. G, AOL closed at 89 5/8, the Dec. 90 C last traded at 1,
the option expires tomorrow, If the stock runs today, you can be called.

If you can spend the $100 per call this morning to close the position I would do this. I would even go as high as a premium of $2 because:

1) If you roll it out to January, you are postponing the agony, and

2)AOL is poised to run up here with the WMT alliance.

My brother-in-law, Arnold, who is a broker taught me about this and everything about investing. He's great!

<<The problem was that was in the operating room all morning, which, by the way, offered a temporary catharsis to my trading schedule. >>

Sure hope my Dr doesn't happen to be taking out my gallbladder or something on a day AOL drops $15.....heck, or goes up $15 for that matter. Brings up an interesting question. When you have the knife in hand, does personal business ever get in the way of what you are doing. Pre-occupied with the kid getting caught shoplifting, the wife acting strange lately, AOL up $20 and you wonder if your buy order came thru ?

Just curious.

Good luck with your options trading. I think this year, when the market peaks in the spring, I may do some puts simply to protect against any major downside. I'd rather lose my premium if we go up rather then not have the puts and watch everything tank 60%. Any opinions ?
