PORTAL POLL - UNSCIENTIFIC - GNET BRINGING UP THE REAR Greetings GNET fans, Out of 232 votes in our informal poll "which portal do you use as your customized home page?," Go2Net places 10th out of 10 with only 2.2% of respondents saying they use it as their home page. Either Yahoo employees are voting too often, or members of the Go2Net Trillionaires' Club are not voting often enough. Or more likely, only a small number of frequent surfers of sites in the Go2Net network of properties actually set a personalized Go2Net home page as their start page. Any ideas why? traffick.com PS - some visitor to my site (actually, a Microsoft employee) was asking for my "credentials". Could someone please tell this guy that I started a really important discussion thread on Silicon Investor? Geez, the nerve of some people!

Jeff, thank you so much for your kind words! Your post #14974 on this thread (SI post #12,302,082) is by far the BEST POST EVER in the history of Silicon Investor!!! <VBG> I plan to have it blown up, and framed in glass. Hopefully someday we'll meet, and perhaps I'll get you to sign it for me :) You and your bro Brad must be very proud for having created Silicon Investor, and seeing your "baby" continue to become the premier and most outstanding financial information investment site on the entire Internet!!! I just hope, when you sold your creation to Russ and John, you ended up a few stock options out of the deal, or at least got a few Go2Net T-shirts (or a trip to Hawaii ;). This board is incredibly lucky to have you "lurking" over here. Please continue to drop in on the thread whenever you can, especially if you notice that we've all missed something really important regarding this incredible company. Yes, I do have a secret recipe "designed" by my daughter and I about 15 years ago. When she was a little girl she used to make me chocolate chip cookies (with walnuts). Almost every night I would have one for desert after dinner with a glass of cabernet (oh I know, my Enological Society would have a fit), while I read the paper. One day I said to her, why not just leave out the darn chocolate chips (as they gave me headaches anyway), and double the walnuts. Voila! IMHO, the world's best cookies were created! Now please don't tell Martha Stewart, or I'll have to demand stock options :)
