If convicted, I'd be willing to bet, at the very worst, they pay back some $$.

But looking at past convictions, from their ages, all they gotta do, is claim insolvency, and the penalty is "you're not allowed to do that again, or you're in real big trouble, next time".

"AWARE", yes a key word. One other key word, as good as the underlying intentions of the SEC are, is IMPOSSIBLE.
