Nihil,

I am not saying that boys and girls(and the relative ages of whatever kids we are discussing make a huge difference. Are the kids 10 or 18 yrs old?) should or should not have sex.

I am saying that they should understand the ramifications of having sex, the dnagers and consequences. It is proven that
an understanding of the issues willl cause a certain percentage of kids to have sex later in life. It also should be understood that abstinence is the only choice that guarantees freedom from STDs and pregnancy.

Just scaring the crap out of kids about sex will only give them hang ups about sex later in life. It is a shame that adults carry much baggage regarding sex and and terefore dilute the experience of what should be an extremely pleasurable and enjoyable aspect of their lives.
