Since Medical is a hot issue for VRD/MVIS: Norway is a proud seafaring nation. Lots of ships world wide. We tend to think of ourselves as being advanced both in that area as well within the medical. At sea, accidents and illness occurs, and the situation does arise that (specially trained, I hope) crew members actually have to perform urgent operations (ex. appendix). Such procedures are guided by medics 'talking' the surgeon-in-situ through the operations. Imagine how this area can be improved by VRD-assisted equipment! I'm not suggesting DIY operations at home.... ;-) There are a lot of ships out there which could benefit immensely from this! Kim
