Nice jump again today. FWIW I saw this table in today local paper. The five most popular types of alternative fueled vehicles in the US, by fuel Fuel/ Avg annual growth rate/Projected # vehicles in 1999 Liquefied Petrol. gas/ 3.1% / 274,000 Compressed Natural gas/ 22.5% / 96,017 Methanol (85%)/ 24.0% / 21,829 Ethanol (85%)/ 94.2% / 17,892 Electricity/ 22.0% / 6,481 Not sure who are what the source of this info is from.
