The new board member is CTO at Merrill Lynch. This seems to tie in nicely with recent rumors that Datamentrics was somehow involved with Exodus Communications, AT&T and Merrill Lynch Online.

I guess this statement by Mr. Gal did not amount to a hill of beans:

Mr. Gal stated, "My willingness to join Zitel's Board is an indication
of my belief that Zitel will become a primary player in the market."
