Artstar.com Launches Phase Three of
Chapman S. Root American Memorabilia Auction
Artstar.com today began the next phase of its exclusive auction of
American Memorabilia from the collection of former Associated Coca-Cola
Bottling President Chapman S. Root. Bidding is now open on the "Century
in Review", an auction of unique American collectibles on
Artstar.com(TM) (http://www.artstar.com), the premier art mega-site on
the Internet and a division of Showstar Online.com, Inc. (OTC BB:ABID).
Chapman S. Root was an avid collector. Over the years, Root amassed
thousands of artifacts for his diverse collection. The Americana
auction features a range of Victoriana, drugstore collectibles, cowboy
and native memorabilia, cookbooks and casino items. Much of this
extensive collection is on exhibit and on display at Artstar.com.

submitted culminating with 298 sold lots."
This auction has been staggered. First was the sale of Coca-Cola
Collectibles, then the current Railroad Memorabilia auction and now the
Americana Collection going on the auction block. The Coca-Cola
Collectibles Auction, which ran from December 7 - 27, received on
average over 26, 000 hits per day, for a total of 442,573 hits.
With a wide range of everyday Americana, there is much to choose from
with this auction. Amongst other things, visitors have a selection of
slot machines or casino items; saddle, chaps or a Native leather skirt
and bags; sewing machines, table and chairs or a wash bowl and jug;
cookbooks or menus.

The Artstar.com auction runs for another five weeks, with a portion of
proceeds funding the Endowment for the Root Collection Galleries at the
Daytona Museum of Arts and Sciences in Florida.
Chapman S. Root was elected president of the Associated Coca-Cola
Bottling Company in 1945. Much of this collection is on exhibit and
available on Artstar.com.
