Mark,

I can only respond as I see what you are saying. I don't believe I have taken your questions out of ALL context becasue I do believe in God's moral law first and mans second.

I have nothing against education, I think you just underestimate the climate of what the world WANTS to teach vs what needs to be taught.

Of course hormones rage in young pre-adults/teens ...I REMEMBER!!! But from my moral perspective, teaching abstinence is FIRST and foremost before teaching how to avoid the consequences . The lesson I remember first from my youth was "It is wrong". Not, "here is how to avoid"

That was my comparison with the stealing thing. See/ Of course you did not teach your children NOT to steal just because they might get caught,NOR would you expect a school to teach them that. You would expect them to use some MORAL judgement in the matter. It is very logical to do so with clear issues. AND my friend, morality IS a clear issue.

Want to teach how folks get aids? GOOD I am all for it. Want to teach how to avoid disease GREAT , I believe they are doing that very thing.....
Want to teach a kid not to committ suicide? GREAT ..loss of life this way is horrible...BUT....

Want to throw worldview moral relativism into the pie and take parents control(which has been through the ages proven to be not a bad thing with kids)away to let schools control info on abortions, pass out condoms, or books on Heathers two ""mommies"" then I say NO WAY dude.

I say, start with the adults again. Let us here in the United States teach that the FAMILY is more important than any individual lust you may dream up. God's Word had SO much GREAT information on the subject.

Let me ask you a question. If I had a sure fire way of changin JUST the divorce rate in the country from the current 50% to just 20 %, what ramification do you think this would have on an otherwise level playing field?
