Gates in Rancho Bernardo! Give me a break.

The primo real estate is in Fairbanks Ranch, Rancho Sante Fe, La Jolla/Soledad(Gateway founder lives here).

Rancho Bernardo is an easy commute from any of the aforementioned
areas.

Bill's wife is from Dallas. Maybe she wants to be able get away from Seattle rain and cloudiness, from time to time? Maybe her parents can't take the Seattle weather? Maybe Bill is taking up golf and wants a home with weather where he can go on the links whenever he wants to?
