Wallman to its Board of Directors. At the White House, Wallman served as Deputy Assistant to the President for Economic Policy and Chief of Staff of the National Economic Council. Wallman additionally was appointed by FCC Chairman William Kennard in January 1999 to chair the National Coordinating Committee on public safety spectrum.
