Actually we earn a 3% Java 'branding fee' now (present company excluded).

The percentage of developers using Java for developing e-business applications is 51%. It's only 37% for C++. This is from the latest issue of infoworld.

That's HUGE power, Twister. In my opinion it's more powerful than the grip that Microsoft has on the desktop, because the importance of the desktop is quickly fading. Linux, BeOS, etc. run a browser and do email and word processing just fine.
