I was being sarcastic with my 4 second mark not realizing that it could be taken literal on this thread. I'm silly sometimes :-)

The 10 week and High Low are the short term indicators. Actually, it is the OPTI that we watch closely because that tells us what the NYSE BP might do.

The short term indicators are the trade indicators if you will. For instance, while the OPTI is negative the short term may reverse up telling us that a rally will occur and some short term trades to the upside can take place. It can also mean the OPTI may reverse up. The same in reverse is true.

The OPTI is important because of the major implication of the NYSE BP. It also measures the optionable stocks which are largely tech and the most traded. When the OPTI turns we use that as our guide for the mid term and poised for the NYSE BP change.
